QUICK HIT:
A "Scientific" Hangover Cure?
By Joe Quinn - @joequinnshow
There's a thousand different ways to solve (or cure) the dreaded hangover out there, but this time a UC-Davis chemist is stepping to the plate to present her "scientific" cure:

Instead of magic pills or a list of what eat/drink when you're going out, this cure sounds like a fairly tasty soup that should get you fixed up fairly quickly.
She's termed the soup "Old Sober," and it includes Asian noodles of some sort, meat (beef, chicken, or shrimp), a sliced egg, some vegetables, and a brown broth with soy in it. Apparently, the foods in the soup will counteract the alcohol's unpleasant morning-after effects.
I can't say I've tried this one yet, but it might be on my agenda sometime soon.
