Looking for a tasty slice of pizza? Well, now there's an app for that.
Accoring to the LA Times:
Pizza Compass, which costs 99 cents, works like any other compass – except that the arrow is actually a pizza slice, and it doesn't point north – it points toward the nearest pizza joint it can find.
The app uses information from Foursquare and – in some cases – tell users whether the place is open or not. As users get nearer to a pizza joint, the space around the pizza pointer will start to look steamy.
I'll be interested to see how this will work in smaller markets, like Des Moines. I like good pizza just as much as the next, so I'll probably consider the 99 cent investment.
